In this assignment, we were asked to describe an egg as detailed as we could. The purpose of this was to make us aware of the importance of specificity. While writing the essay, I realized that “egg” is too broad, as it can refer to many things, such as an organism’s egg, a chicken egg, or the egg of another animal. Therefore, when I write, I am very careful with the words I use to describe.
